This Privacy Policy describes how Solar Advantage ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, submit a form, call us, or otherwise interact with us in connection with our solar and battery storage products and services.

- Property information — your property address, whether you own or lease your solar system, approximately when your system was switched on, your average monthly electric bill, whether you have a backup generator, and your stated priorities.
- Consent records — the consent language you agreed to, together with a timestamp and IP address at the time of submission.
- Technical and usage information — pages visited, referring links and campaign parameters (such as UTM values), device and browser type, and general analytics data collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
We may also receive information about properties and solar installations from publicly available sources, such as building permit records.

- To respond to your inquiry and provide a free evaluation, including looking up your system's permission-to-operate date, net metering status, and applicable incentive eligibility (such as Energy Community census-tract designation).
- To contact you by phone, email, and — only if you have separately opted in — text message, about solar and battery storage products and services.
- To prepare quotes and proposals, schedule appointments, and perform services you request.
- To operate, analyze, and improve our website and marketing.
- To comply with legal obligations and maintain records, including consent records.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:
- Financing and program partners — such as our finance partners and program administrators, as necessary to evaluate eligibility, structure your agreement, and deliver services.
- Service providers — vendors who help us operate our business, such as our customer relationship management platform, scheduling, email and SMS delivery, and analytics providers, under obligations to protect your information.
- Installation and permitting — utilities, permitting authorities, and inspectors, as required to complete an installation you have agreed to.
- Legal — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights.
4. Text Messages (SMS)
We send marketing text messages only to individuals who have given prior express written consent, typically by checking the SMS consent box on our form. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not opt you out of calls or emails, which you may opt out of separately as described below.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also ask us to stop calling or emailing you at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 10, and we will honor your request.
